Error 26002: failed to read IIsWebs Table during uninstall

I am removing an old ADMS 2008 install on a server.

It fails during committing IIS MEtabase Transaction with an error message

error 26002: failed to read IISWebs Table during uninstall.


I need to free up space on this server, and would really like to get rid of ADMS.
Any suggestions?

No I have the following critical error showing up in my server logs:

JobService.ExecuteJob() failure. JobTimer Id: 2695f9b4-9d64-4405-921e-14f7a9a0916c Client found response content type of 'text/html; charset=utf-8', but expected 'text/xml'. The request failed with the error message: -- Specified argument was out of the range of valid values.
