Extra Lines being seeing as Wires

Has anyone else ever had a drawing where extra lines are being seen as wires that are NOT in the "Create/Edit Wire Type" list?

In most drawings and on most computers this works just fine; but there are a few drawings and a few computers that I place a component down on a clear AutoCAD line and AutoCAD: Electrical thinks it is a wire and trims it and adjust the rotation.

I have checked and double checked the "create/Edit wire type" list and this layer is not in there. I also cannot reproduce it on my computer; but I have had that problem on my computer for some drawings; but most drawings work fine.

Is the "Wire Type" list carried around in the DWG or is it carried around in the scratch database?

The wire type list is carried on the drawing. But it won't hurt to delete
the scratch database (while AcadE not active) and let it recreate from the
drawing set (by restarting AcadE) just to clear out any discrepancy between
the drawings and the database.

Can you post a drawing that the issue can be reproduced on? Or you can send
it directly to me at pat.murnen@autodesk.com. What version of AutoCAD
Electrical are you using?
