Hello again,

Kalle.ipt consists of two separate revolutions. What puzzles me is that the section view in Kalle.dwg
does not show any separating contour between the revolutions as there should be in my mind.
In reality the part is made of a shaft (revolution1) and a cylinder (revolution4) which are welded
together. Please advice how to make the separating contour visible in the section view.

Thanks,
Martti

You need to create the two parts separately then add them to an assembly. Create a drawing from the assembly and the section view will work as you desire. I can show you if you want but it is pretty easy.

I noticed that your sketches don't have any dimensions. You might want to read this document.

Is there anything else you want to add to the actual question asked?

Hi Martti,
You need to have IV2010 to be able to do what you ask for. If you don't -
then you have to create an assembly and document the assembly, not the part
itself.
Regards,
Igor.

I new that. I thought he might have IV2010 in the

Igor.
