Quick way to create printable file for all purchase parts?

I have a need to create a printable file for every part in our purchase part directory. We do not have detail drawings of these parts currently, but would like to print a reference picture for the stock room, to aid with inventory.
The file needs to contain at least:
1) a picture of the component
2) the part number
and optionally:
3) the part description
I'm just looking for suggestions on a quick way of doing this, other than opening a drawing template, and creating the view, etc.
I'm thinking of something like a screen capture utility that captures the part number along with the picture.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

How many parts?

How big do you want the pic?

How many pics per page?

What version of Inventor?

I can't think of any way to get multiple thumbnails/previews with the part number on screen at once, but there may be ways of expediting the drawing view setup.

How many parts?

500 to 800

How big do you want the pic?

2" x 2" would probably be large enough

How many pics per page?

ideally 1 on a note card, but could probably fill a 8.5x11 and cut them up

What version of Inventor?

2010

1 thumbnail/picture and its part number at a time will work if that screen could be output to a file quickly. Currently, I can use a custom title block and sheet formats to help with this a little, but its still a bit click intensive.

See if this works:

Set up a drawing with a view of a part and the appropriate i-prop text. Then close the files and rename the part file. When you re-open the idw, it will ask you to resolve, and you can point to any part you want. The view and text will reflect the new part. Print, then close wihtout saving. Rinse,. Repeat.

I'm familiar with Yippee, but do not see a way to do this. Do you have a step by step example. Or a screen shot you could share?

We don't use Yippee now, but in my former life, i was able to extract all parts and assemblies with thumbnails into an excel sheet for the stock keeper but i can't seem to remember how. Add also that i don't know if Yippee is compatible with 2010.

But i'm sure it can be done in Yippee.

Hello

Have you tried to, in BOM, sort by "Purchased" select the cells you want, copy and paste in excel?
