No Power Demensioning Dialog Window

I use Mechanical 2008 at home and 2009 at work. I recently had to replace a hard drive which caused me to have to reload Mechanical 2008 at home. Prior to that while dimensioning I was able to bring up a "Power Dimensioning" window in which I could edit the dimension as desired by double clicking on the dimension. Now double clicking does nothing and the only way I can edit a dimension is through the properties window. I have attached a drawing with that window included.

Is there some setting I have missed that will allow that window to come up? Can somebody tell me why it is not coming up?

Thanks.

Hi,

Try Command amoptions>>AM:Standards Tab>> Double click on Dimension node>>in the dimension setting dialog >>select " First Dimension or Always" from the "Display power dimension dialog" option.

If this doesn't fix the issue; verify if AutoCAD launched instead of AutoCAD Mechanical.

Windows Start>>Programs>>AutoCAD Mechanical 2008>>AutoCAD Mechanical 2008, once the program is launched, create a new drawing>>Create a dimension and now try to double click .

Let me know if this helps

Thanks,
