Title Block

My company is thinking about having all drawings be brought into .idw files on a 1:1 scale and upscaling the borders oppose to scaling the drawing and keepin the borders at a size B sheet. The major problem with this is that the title block doesn't with the sheet size causing it to become very small in the corner when you are at higher sheet sizes (E,F etc.)

Is there anyway that I can somehow have the title block scale in relation to the border??? I'm looking for an effective way of going about this. Any suggestions are welcomed..

Thanks

I guess i have to ask why create all those headaches with title blocks, note text, dimensions and so on will all need to be adjusted? What do they think they are going to get out of doing this? There was some reason for doing this in ACAD but IV is not ACAD, scaling views is so easy !

And that reason went away somewhere around 1990
when they introduced paperspace to AutoCAD.

You're making a big assumption that people understud paper space model space. And i found very few did. Back to a lack of training!!

I observed the same thing, I was just stirring up
the pot.

Mentioning Paperspace in an Autocad office usually
resulted in the same reaction as suggesting giving up the black background - the
horror!

I found a very feasible solution to my problem. However scaling with Inventor .dwg must be paid close attention to when being imported, exported, viewed etc in different CAD software.

Thanks

At more than one company i worked for just the mention of Metric dimensioning would get you fired and escorted out the door.

Wow how backward thinking can one get? I draw only
in metric. It's such a better system I wish America would adopt it and drop
inch/mile. I can't imagine working for a company that would walk you out for
mentioning it.
