Hi

I was looking for a cad software just to open, see and take prints of drawings sent to me by customers. As I was browsing Autodesk website, I came across "Autocad Design Review Free" software version.

My query is can I use this software for my above purpose. If so, after downloading the software how I have to install it.

You can install from the download page, or after downloading: instructions
are posted on the same page you start the download.

IRC, in order to view prints using Design Review, whom ever sends you
files to view would have to send you .dwf files.

Try searching on autodesk's website for a program called "DWG Trueview"
which would allow you to view and print .dwg files if that is the file
type you are being sent. As Dean stated, the instructions for
installing the software should be located where you can download it
from.

You cannot open and view "DWG" files with Design Review.
You need DWG TrueView for this.
http://www.autodesk.com/dwgtrueview

After you get DWG Trueview installed, then Design Review can "import" a DWG
for viewing, but you only get whatever page setup was last saved in the DWG.
Unless you specifically need the ability to markup a DWF and return it to
the client (in which case they should send you a DWF to start with...), then
I would forget about Design Review.
