custom lib to Vault

Hello ,

I am working with Vault 2010 . I want to check in the project with my lib with custom parts that i have gathered from all kind of places . First issue is that when I check in the project all lib parts don't go inside the Vault , only if I use them inside the assy or open them and check in . How can I add all the parts to the mapped lib folder inside Vault ?
Second issue is that if I create a new project and check him in, he is not linked to the lib. How can I link a new project to existing lib folders inside the vault ?
I am asking this because I want the libraries inside the vault and not on the local hard drive .

Thanks ,

Dan

Did you try to use Auto-loader to load your library into Vault?

Hello Mikel ,

First issue is clear , apparently I forgot Autoloader exists.
Can you help with the second issue ? What is the best workflow in this matter ?

Thanks

I am not clear about what you're asking.
More details please.

In order to map the custom library to the Vault with the new project file,
you have to add the custom library to the new project (via project editor).
Once this is done you can go to the 'Map Folders' dialog in Inventor and map
the library to the appropriate folder in the Vault.
