Service packs & updates?

I had to re-install version 2006 the other day. I see the service packs for anything previous to version 2008 are no longer listed. Is there another link or site where they can still be downloaded?

Thanks.

Yeah, I saw that, but there is a note that says not to use that one when you install from the Inventor 10 series CD, which is the version we have. If I look for service packs for Inventor 10 there is nothing there...

Maybe I'll just try this one anyway.

Thanks.

you might be right - that SP won't work for Inventor 10 Series.

I replied to your other post as well...

I don't know where I read it, but I believe Autodesk is shelving
10/2006 software and it's no longer supported hence the reason the
updates may have been removed.

For all intents and purposes, you need to think of your 'companion' R2006 as
part of Inventor10, which is discontinued/dead. You do not have R2006 as an
individual license.

R2006 the individual license support and updates are still available to
anyone with R2006: the site still shows back to R14, again, for
AutoCAD-only licenses, not the free-companion versions.

I realize that it is not a separate license. I just posted here to see if anyone could point me in the right direction. We have one seat of this version left. In these economic times Management is not going to let us upgrade this seat. Yet, for what we want to use it for, it is still sufficient.

Thanks.
