Vault 2009 + AutoCAD 2009 = interesting issue, cuase ideas?

Hello all.

One of my co-workers and I just dealt with an interesting issue on her AutoCAD/Vault interface.

We are talking about one file of four in a folder. She is logged into the Vault Explorer and the AutoCAD Vault interface. Vault Explorer says the file is checked out, as are the other three files. If you go to check it in as a single file using any of the methods available through AutoCAD you get a "File is not Vaulted" error message. We know, we tried all of them.

But, if you check the entire Folder in, then the file checks in without a complaint.

Any ideas of things to check? If it matters, or is a clue, whenever she checks a file in from AutoCAD she has to tell Vault what folder in Vault she would like the file checked in to.

Thanks for the Time.

Regards,
Shawna

Hi Shawna,

Thanks for your post. We need some more information to understand this
issue.

Are you trying to Check-in a file which is opened from vault? If you have
opened this file from Vault the vault status of the file in the XREF window
should show as Circle with Tick.

Could you please send us the screen snapshot or the Error Message along with
the XREF Window which shows the vault status of the opened files in AutoCAD?

Thanks
Senthil

Verify that you have the 'Working Folder' specified.

OK, is there a way or place to do that besides in Vault Explorer? According to her Vault Explorer, she's got a properly set working folder.

Hi,

Working folder can be set only via Vault Explorer.
