Hey all,
I have a pretty good somewhat basic knowledge of the program and I was thrown into this at work since I was the only one who know anything about the program. My boss said he only wanted this in 2D for a floor plan, and now wants it in 3D so I can import it into another program and runs some models off of it. It is a pretty large house, but a pretty simple floor plan. I have all of the heights and such that I need for the 3D model, but don't know where to go from here. I tried using the PRESSPULL command and it worked kinda but groups things a little wierd and crashed the program like 3 times. any input would be great!! Thanks, Chris

Hi,

You may use extrude command to convert 2D view to 3D model. To extrude and get a 3D solid, all the lines/arcs should be converted into closed polyline. Use Pedit command to join the lines into 1 single polyline. please refer help for more information.

Subtract is another command which can be used to remove one solid from another. (more info documented in help)

Thanks,
