Attachment AdrTestXpIssue.DWF (454.0 KB)
On opening a ADR File in 2010 on a Windows Vista computer everything is OK, but if opened on a Windows XP computer the Text is not aligned correctly.

Here is the process - generated a ADR file from a Microsoft Visio Drawing. It created OK, no errors. If I open this file in ADR 2010 on a Vista computer all the text in the lower right title box is correct, but opening in ADR 2010 on a XP computer goes wacky. I have included an example which represents these issues. In the ADR file there are 3 pages: Cover, WinXp Snapshot (illustrates the issue), and Vista Snapshot.

If I opened this on a Win Xp computer with an older version of ADR it displays correctly. Wanting to know if there is a work around or bug report fix?

Thanks,
Bill

Thank you for reporting this problem.

I have logged a new defect for this issue.

By the way you can follow these steps as a work around to viewing of this file on computers running Windows XP.

1. Open this file with ADR and save it as dwfx file

2. Modify the file suffix as .xps

3. Open this .xps file with XPS Viewer

Please let me know if I can be of any further help.
