Hi everyone.
When I update layout of a huge assy it crashes after 20% regen.
Is any way to ease upof updating for huge layouts?

Have you tried audit/recover/recover desktop? If that doesn't help you might
have to try opening the assy without some of the parts (eg. temporarily move
them to another folder) until you find the offending part. Or recreate the
view(s)?

Thanks Per.

As far as I remember there is a variable
which simplifies layout generation.

I can not remember which one.

In my case - it's a huge assy
contains several big subsssy's.

I've gradually added subs to assy and generated
layout adding to selection set in layout.

At some point it started crashing.

I did not use scenes - it considerably solves
regeneration.

Again, I think there is a variable for simplifying
generation of complex layout.

But I will try to eliminate bad subs as you
advised.

Thanks again.
