Our organization looks like it is going to be deploying geospatial dwfx maps for multiple mobile computers and I would like to know if it is possible to speed up the opening of design review 2010 with a possible line switch or other method.

Thank you for your feedback.

The slow startup of ADR2010 only occurs when you start the application for
the first time and any subsequent launches should be quicker. This is due to
the .Net modules loading and I am afraid that there is no workaround at this
point.

Said that, we are aware of this and continue to work on enhancing the
performance going forward.

Thank you.

We also have users noticing the slow startups. You are right it is faster the on the second launch but still much slower than previous versions. Improvments would be welcome. Users want to flick through many drawings to find something specific. The slower launch time makes this much more painful.

Hi Richard,
Once ADR is open, the time to open a DWF from 2010 and 2009 should be roughly the same.
If you are finding the time to open a DWF is much slower in 2010, can you share that DWF with us via this thread, or you can send it to me via email at allister.lundberg@autodesk.com
