Does anybody know what the maximum number of table entries for an iPart is? I have a table using 3 keys and 1600 entries and it doesn't work. It allows me to edit and view the table but it doesn't show up in the browser. I see the Table Icon but no selections under it.

Thanks

I would split it into two parts. There is a limit, but I can't
remember what was stated.

When iParts were first implemented we had a limit
of 1000 rows for performance reasons. It takes a fair amount of time to parse
the table when there are a lot of rows. I would edit the table via the
spreadsheet, copy half of the rows to a different workbook, and then test the
smaller factory. If it works then you can determine the best way to split it
into smaller factories.

Thanks, this was my plan to cut it into smaller chunks and see what happens.

Jim,

I am not sure if you have searched the forum but I asked this question a while ago and I found out that there is a Registry Key that you can edit to make the number of allowable rows increase. I can't rememer what key it was or what I changed it to. I know, I am not really alot of help here. I just thought I would let you know the answer is out there. I will do some looking around to see if I can find the informatoin.

It might work (and be faster to use) if you publish
it to a Content Center library.

We made the decision to limit the size of the iPart to 256 entries. This will increase loading speed when it gets inserted into the next higher iAssembly.
Thanks for everybodies help
