Some Greek characters can be obtained using the holding down the ALT key
and typing in a 4 figure code (see attached PDF file) on the NUMBER KEY PAD

Also try doing a search with Google

Mason: I don't know where you obtained the PDF you attached but some of the characters are NOT at the addresses recommended by UNICODE. As such, if custom characters are assigned these addresses, Autocad 06 thru 08 Mtext editor may display something different that what your were expecting.

F.Y.I: UNICODE assigns the Greek alphabet to addresses hexadecimal 0391 thru 03C9 which are well above using the ALT+DDDD sequence. Depending the the font you're using, if defined at the proper addresses, you can type \u+HHHH where HHHH is the hexadecimal address.

If you look the font type is STANDARD as in STANDARD.TTF

That means you need to CHANGE your AutoCAD default font to STANDARD.TTF

Works for me has done for the past 25 years.

I did also say try using a Google search as well.

Read my post again, especially the part about UNICODE addresses. The fact that you've been using the same font for 25 years is irrelevant. Perhaps you need to investigate and see if there's an updated version with UNICODE addresses in it.

Life will be much easier if we just have a printout of
all the commands that exist in Autocad kept handy.
