Import Excel file into AutoCAD 2000?

Is there a way to import an Excel file into AutoCAD 2000 and using an AutoCAD font while maintaining columns, etc.? Using insert OLE object makes the fonts print fuzzy and I am hoping to find a way to either make the fonts print clear or switch to an AutoCAD font.
Thanks

Take a look at ToolPac's Table Tools at http://www.dotsoft.com.

You should try right-click and properties to change the OLE quality. You
could also edit the PC3 file by selecting the properties button next to the
device in the Plot dialog or from the File>plotter Manager. Select the
Graphics leaf, and take a look at the Raster Graphics section. Now on the
Raster slider and the OLE slider move them both all the way to the right.
You could also make sure you have installed the Plotting Update as many plot
related issues were fixed in it.

Another option is to copy the spreadsheet to the clipboard,
then, inside AutoCAD, choose edit|paste special, choose autocad entities and
press ok.

This will insert the excel entities as autocad fonts and
lines.  You can change the fonts as normal.

Hope this helps

You do not need to buy anything: this option, and the one before it work
best.

Under the Plotting Tab in Tools-Options, try various OLE Plotting
Quality (Right-hand side). Also, try checking 'Use OLE application when
plotting OLE Objects under same tab.

Ole stuff is such a pain. Check out http://www.dotsoft.com/ or a program
called Spanner. Either one will bring in AutoCAD entities (vectors)and use
conventional fonts.
