I thought I'd post a few recent renders. The purpose for these was not for photo-realistic images, but rather to aid the customer in visualization in the preliminary design phase. For that, I'm very pleased. 100% modeled and rendered in ACA. Bionatics trees.

They appear be here, at this time, for me, on the web interface, using Windows Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.13.
That said, I have had intermittent problems seeing and/or accessing attachments since 9/22, when the Discussion Group login and web interface was changed.

I can see all your attachments and I am delighted. Your renders are astonishing. Pedro Aroso Porto - Portugal They appear be here, at this time, for me, on the web interface, using Windows Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.13.

I can still see them Andrew Nice images. The bump mapping on the stone is pretty effective. Grass and deck texture less so. It's always difficult to go some of the way. Compared to the other images you posted these are not so good. BUT, that's because you posted TOO large images and when I open the image instead of viewing them in OE and they become smaller, they look alot better. Are they the included basic set of trees or have you paid for extra. I think the grass texture needs to be less lawn like and more country hill grass texture! Does your grass show reflections of the building? Must have just rained :-) All up nice modelling! Hey, why were my attachments removed?? They were here yesterday...

Yup, the attachments are back on there. For the bump map on the stone I just grayscaled the image and increased the contrast. I'd probably prefer it if it didn't totally coincide with the color of stone, but it works o.k. The grass and deck materials are just OOTB and certainly could use some tweaking. How about that vertical endgrain on the deck... :-) The other project images I posted had draped grade along with draped driveway, etc. That seems to add a fair amount of effect, IMO, but we don't have the current site info at this time for this project. I also must admit a preference to the design of the last project I posted. The trees are just the freebies. I noticed the reflections in the grass, too. :-) Like I said, it's more for client visualization than for a realistic rendering and for that it works great. Thanks for the comments.

Even though they are not 'amazing' in regards to render quality, they are still cool looking models. Good to see.
